Hello, I'm Rachel. I am a fine art and embroidery artist based in the North West of England.

My work is inspired by the intricate beauty of nature, which I love to explore and translate into art. I specialise in creating highly detailed, realistic style studies using graphite pencils, pencil crayons, paint and embroidery. My services include commissioned pet portraits, original artwork and prints, as well as embroidery kits.

Creativity has always been a driving force in my life and I am passionate about sharing it with others in fine art and embroidery workshops. I run these throughout the year, welcoming people of all skill levels to learn new techniques, enabling them to create something special in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

The King's Trust has supported my journey, helping me to turn my passion into a creative business. This year, I will be starting an Embroidery Diploma with Hand & Lock to enhance my skills, expand my online shop with new creations and introduce even more techniques through kits and workshops.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Textiles from the University of Central Lancashire, where my work was often praised for its illustrative qualities. Combining my love for fine art and textiles has been central to my creative practice and I'm excited to continue exploring and sharing this passion.
